I can't activate my eSIM

Overview of steps to check & troubleshoot eSIM activation issues

  1. Make sure you are on stable WiFi connection (if possible)

  2. Make sure your device supports eSIM technology

  3. Make sure your device is not carrier-locked

  4. If airplane mode is turned on > turn airplane mode off

  5. Check if your Roamless eSIM is already installed on your device

    1. If it is already installed, you don't need to activate again

  6. Make sure you are in an area with network coverage (ideally 2 or more bars)

Carrier-locked device is the most common cause of eSIM activation failures.

Trying to install the Roamless eSIM when it's already installed on the device is also a common cause of eSIM activation failures.
