Locating your Roamless eSIM on iOS 18 and earlier
iOS 18 and earlier versions label eSIMs during activation with generic labels, making it hard to identify your eSIMs when needed.
When you install your Roamless eSIM, iOS 18 (and earlier versions) automatically labels your regular SIM card as "Primary" and then assigns a label to the eSIM during activation from the list below:
Personal
Travel
Business
Secondary
Cellular Data
If you did not manually label your Roamless eSIM during initial installation, please follow the below steps to identify it and label it now to avoid any confusion later.
Go to Device Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Data) > scroll down to SIMs
As a data-only eSIM, your Roamless eSIM will show "No Number" under the label
When you click into the eSIM, you should see at the top of the page either "Roamless", or "BICS" or "1010/csl"
iOS 18.5 and later will show Roamless
iOS 18.4 and earlier will show BICS or 1010/csl
This eSIM is your Roamless eSIM
On the same page, click on "Cellular Plan Label" > Custom Label > type Roamless > go back to the previous page
Once you re-label your Roamless eSIM, it will be easier to refer to and if needed to trouble shoot.
Locating your Roamless eSIM on iOS 26
Thankfully with iOS 26, labels for SIMs and eSIMs are much more intuitive and the provider names (i.e. Roamless) are automatically included in the labels during initial eSIM activation. Under Device Settings > Cellular > SIMs, you will be able to easily locate your Roamless eSIM on iOS 26.
Locating your Roamless eSIM on Android
On Android devices, while the eSIM labels are customizable as well, the eSIM provider names are automatically included. Under SIM Manager, you can easily locate your Roamless eSIM.
