If your data was working as expected but suddently stopped working, please go through the below steps, in the order given and test your data connectivity after each step.
1. Check your Roamless balance and top-up as needed
Please make sure you either have:
Sufficient pay-as-you-go (FLEX) credits in your account (usable in all 200+ destinations)
Or a valid data plan (country-specific, or regional) for your current destination
If you are out of Roamless credits or if your data plan is fully consumed, you can top-up your account or buy another data plan.
2. Check to see if you still have signal bars
On your device's status bar (i.e. upper right corner of your screen), you can see if you are still getting any signal on the network
If you are only seeing 1-bar, it means coverage in your current location is weak which may cause data connectivity problems
3. Check your device settings and your Roamless eSIM settings
4. Turn ON Airplane Mode > Wait for 10 seconds > Turn OFF Airplane Mode
Turning airplane on/off drops and re-establishes your network connection
While it is very a simple method, it is effective in troubleshooting basic network-side issues and will often get you back online
5. Manually select a different network for your location (if available)
The current network you're connected to may be having temporary issues
Roamless works on multiple operators on many destinations, so you can try manually connecting to a different network
β(See guide: How to Manually Select a Network)
6. Delete and Re-install your Roamless eSIM
Make sure you have a strong WiFi connection before you delete your eSIM
"Airplane mode on/off" and "turning your eSIM off/on" are good tricks to reset network-side connectivity
Deleting your eSIM from your device and re-installing it will not only reset network-side connectivity, it will also reset a few things on the device-side that may sometimes cause data connectivity problems
Deleting your Roamless eSIM has no impact on your credits, rewards or data plans. Your account balance is safe.
You can delete and re-install the Roamless eSIM as many times as you need
If the above steps do not work and your data is still not working, please reach out to the Support Team so that we can assist you in person.
Generally, if your data stops working all of a sudden and it is not restored even after deleting and re-installing your eSIM, there could be a network-side (operator-related) problem which we will need to investigate.
If there's another Roamless network available in your current location, please connect to it manually.
