How to Delete the Roamless eSIM

How to delete the Roamless eSIM if needed

Since the Roamless eSIM is a single, global eSIM that works in all 200+ destinations, and has no expiration, you do not have to delete and reinstall it every time you travel.

You install your Roamless eSIM only once on your device, use it when you need it, and turn it off when you're done. You can turn it back on when you need it again, and keep using it.

However, if you do need to delete the eSIM from your device (e.g., you bought a new device):

Step-by-Step Guide for iOS Devices

  1. Locate the Roamless eSIM:

    • Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile Service).

    • Scroll to the SIMs section and select your Roamless eSIM.

  2. Delete the eSIM:

    • Tap Delete eSIM > Confirm.

    • Wait a few seconds and tap Update if prompted.

Step-by-Step Guide for Android Devices

  1. Locate the Roamless eSIM:

    • Go to Settings > Connections (or Network & Internet) > SIM Manager.

    • Select your Roamless eSIM.

Once deletion is complete, you can re-install the eSIM on the same device or on a different device again, as you wish.

  2. Enable Data Roaming.

  3. Confirm the APN is set to "roamless".

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation and activation.

For Android Devices:

  1. Open the Roamless app.

  2. Navigate to the Data tab > Install eSIM > Install Now.

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation and activation.

The Roamless eSIM has no limitations on how many times you delete and re-install it.

Your account balance, rewards and active data plans also remain safe in case you delete your eSIM, and will be ready for use as soon as you install it again (on the same device, or on a different device).

Please note that in order to move your Roamless eSIM from one device to another, you will need to first delete it from the old device. (The same eSIM cannot be installed on multiple devices at the same time.)

Please do not use "Transfer eSIM" option on iOS devices to move your Roamless eSIM. Instead, please manually delete it from your old device and re-install it on your new device.
