How Can I Change My Location in the App?

You do not need to change your destination in your Roamless app.

  • Your Roamless eSIM and your pay-as-you-go credits work automatically in all 200+ Roamless destinations

  • Your Roamless app shows you your data allowance (for your credit balance) based on your current location

  • Your Roamless eSIM automatically starts consuming your data plan (if you have a valid data plan for your current location)

There is no need to select a country, make any changes or select any locations.


For example:

  • If you have $25.00 USD worth of credits, and you are currently in the United States, you will see 10.2GB displayed as your data allowance on your app's landing screen, since the per GB rates in the US are $2.45/GB

  • If you travel to Canada, instead of 10.2GB, you will see 5.6GB as your data allowance, since the per GB rates in Canada are $4.45/GB


Your Roamless app shows you how much data allowance you get in your current location for your account balance. When you travel to a different destination, this number is updated based on that destination's data rates.

We recommend that you allow 'location permissions' when you install the Roamless app, so that you can always see your data allowance based on your current location.
