QR Code & Manual Activation Code

The Roamless app has one-click installation available in both iOS and Android apps, which does not require you to use a QR code. You can simply click on the "Install Now" button and start the activation process

In case you need the QR code or the manual activation code for your eSIM:

  • QR Code:

  • Please sign in to your Roamless app

  • Go to the Data tab > click on Install eSIM

  • You can send yourself the QR code by clicking on "QR Code" at the bottom left corner

  • Manual Activation Code:

  • Please sign in to your Roamless app

  • Go to Data Tab > click on Install eSIM

  • You can get your Manual Activation code (SM-DP+ address and activation code) from the bottom right corner

    • Example SM-DP+ Address: consumer.rsp.world

    • Example Activation Code Format: LPA:1$consumer.rsp.world$[ACTIVATION_CODE]

Device-Level Activation Steps

Using a QR Code

  1. Open your phone’s Settings.

  2. Navigate to Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM (or Add Cellular Plan).

  3. Select the option to Use QR Code.

  4. Scan the QR code provided by Roamless.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation.

  6. Configure your device settings:

    • Set the eSIM as the active line for data.

    • Enable data roaming for the eSIM.

    • Adjust APN settings if required by the Roamless guide.

Manual Activation (No QR Code Needed)

  1. Open your phone’s Settings.

  2. Go to Cellular (or Mobile Data) > Add eSIM.

  3. Choose Use QR Code, then select Enter Details Manually.

  4. Enter the following details:

    • SM-DP+ Address: consumer.rsp.world

    • Activation Code: Provided by Roamless (e.g., LPA:1$consumer.rsp.world$[ACTIVATION_CODE])

    • Confirmation Code: Leave blank unless instructed otherwise.

  5. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the activation.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

QR Code Activation Blocked (e.g., Regional Restrictions)

  • Use the manual activation method described above to bypass QR code restrictions.

Roamless App Keeps Asking for a QR Code

  • Ensure you are logged into the correct account in the Roamless app.

  • Activate the eSIM directly from the app.

  • If QR activation is required, request a new QR code from Roamless support.

Reactivating an eSIM

  • Delete the current eSIM from your device.

  • Restart your phone.

  • Open the Roamless app and activate the eSIM again while connected to a strong internet connection.

  • Restart your device after activation.

Notes

  • Always ensure a stable internet connection (preferably Wi-Fi) during activation.

  • Your account balance and data plans remain unaffected when transferring or reactivating an eSIM.

  • For additional support, refer to the Roamless app or website.
