Auto Top Up Roamless Credits

You can enable Auto Top Up for your Roamless account and avoid running out of credits

What is Auto Top Up?

Auto Top Up is a setting that you can enable in your Roamless app and make sure you never run out of Roamless Credits.

  • When your Credit Balance drops below $5.00 USD, Roamless adds your predefined Top Up amount using your saved payment method (i.e. credit card, Google Pay, ApplePay). No further action is needed from you.

  • Each successful top up sends you an email receipt, the same when you make a manual credit purchase.

How do I turn on (enable) Auto Top Up?

  1. Open your Roamless App > Go to Profile > Credits.

  2. Tap Auto Top Up.

  3. Select your top-up amount, confirm your payment method, save.

  4. That's it; you're all set.

How do I turn off (disable) Auto Top Up?

  1. Open your Roamless App > Go to Profile > Credits

  2. Click the toggle next to Auto Top Up > turn it off.

You can disable Auto Top Up anytime. Once it's off, no more automatic charges will be processed. You can always enable Auto Top Up again whenever you need.

Does Auto Top Up trigger if I have rewards or data plans?

Yes. Auto Top Up is tied to your non-expiring Roamless Credit balance.

  • If you have less than $5.00 USD of Credits in your account and if you enable Auto Top Up, your payment will be processed right away regardless of your active rewards or data plans.

  • If you have more than $5.00 USD of Credits in your account, Auto Top Up will trigger a payment only if your Credit balance falls below $5.00 USD.

When does Auto Top Up charge me?

When your Balance drops below $5.00. As long as your Balance stays above $5.00, nothing happens.

  • Please note that the $5.00 minimum trigger is fixed and cannot be manually adjusted.

What happens if an Auto Top Up payment fails?

In case we cannot process your auto top up payment, we will inform you know right away by push notification and email.

  • Roamless then will try the auto top up again automatically, up to two more times.

  • If one of those attempts works, you will get an email receipt confirming the top up, the same as a normal credit purchase.

  • If all attempts fail, we will email you to review your payment details in the app.

Can I still top up manually when Auto Top Up is enabled?

Yes. You can top up manually anytime. Auto Top Up triggers again only if your Balance later drops below $5.

Where can I see list of auto top up payments?

In your Roamless app, under Profile > Transaction History you can find all transactions for your Roamless account. Auto Top Up charges are marked with an icon (circular arrows).

Does Auto Top Up cost anything extra?

No. You only pay for the Credits, the same as a regular credit purchases. There are no additional charges to enable or use the Auto Top Up feature.
